There are times when you don’t need a graphic designer — you don’t need design and graphics, just a document that’s properly formatted and looks its best. A CV, business report or presentation, or a press release you want to tidy up. A contents list that you can’t get to look the way you want it… Maybe you just want to make sure your house style is correctly applied.
I do DTP (that’s desktop publishing, i.e. layout) using InDesign (or WORD or PowerPoint), saved in PDF ready to print or share digitally.
I can work with your templates, style sheets and designs or create new ones. If you prefer to go up a level, I have a network of freelance graphic designers who I can recommend for the job.
Style guides
There’s one sure-fire way to ensure that your website contents, documents and presentations are consistent: create (and use!) an internal house style guide.
I’m experienced in creating style guides. And in creating the communication required to help create awareness, and train internal and external users to actually use them.
A style guide can cover anything that affects the brand identity: language, jargon, abbreviations and acronyms, tone of voice, visual identity, etc.
